Batik Leggings 101

Firstly, the designs were hand drawn using traditional batik tools, the tjanting and hot wax.

Then,the color is then filled in using fabric dye.

Once the artwork is complete, it is transferred onto spandex fabric via sublimation printing, so that the leggings are machine washable, the colors will never fade and the leggings will continue to display the hand painted designs for over the length of it's lifetime.
